(CMR) Levi Ambrose Powell (25) of Bodden Town and Toria Terry (26) of West Bay was formally charged yesterday in relation to a Patrick's Avenue burglary.
The objects, which include jewelry, were taken from the George Townhouse on Thursday, 13 December.
Exclusive CMR sources indicate that the allegations are that Powell burglarized the house and then recruited Terry to assist him with pawning the goods at a local consignment store, Cashwiz. Terry claims to have had no knowledge that the goods were stolen; but was merely helping a friend pawn some goods.
CCTV footage caught the parties at the Cashwiz, George Town location. Powell was remanded into custody with no bail, and Terry was granted bail.
