Cayman 123 Travel owner, Theresa Eleanor Chin, pleaded guilty to several counts of failing to pay pension contribution to her employees.
The court heard that she allegedly owes almost CI$100,000 in unpaid pensions to her former employees. In total she faces 39 charges but has only entered a guilty please to 12. She will return to court on February 13 for a mention on the other charges.
Previous court matters in relation to the company indicate that they closed down in 2015 after numerous fraud complaints were lodged with the police. However, the owner was exonerated by a jury in April 2017 of any wrongdoing.
CMR sources indicate that she remains two doors down from her previous location operating under Juelz Tours and Travel.
