(CMR) Cayman Marl Road sources indicate that two men who have been missing since 25 October may have been found near the coast of Honduras.
Thomas Owen Robert Bush (30) of North Side had been reported missing along with another unidentified man after going on a fishing trip. The report was made on the 1 November and since then there had been no signs of the two men until now.
It’s reported that they were found around 8:00 a.m. this morning by a local fisherman who goes out fishing for at least a months.
The second man has been identified as Jacob McDaniels who is a Jamaican national.
Apparently they were found drifting on the banks of Honduras by a local fisherman still in their vessel. We understand that only Bush is able to speak and he was able to communicate his name and where he was from. We understand that after being given some food and water Bush was able to provide information on the other man.
Jacob is too weak to be able to assist at this stage.
This is a developing story and we will update as information becomes available.
