READ OUT LOUD!
(CMR) The police are now requesting for victims of Garfield and Clairestina E Robb of Shutter & Screen Installations to come forward and contact the RCIPS Financial Crime Investigation Unit. An investigation has been launched after CMR highlight the ongoing potential fraud issue that has spanned several years.
CMR is aware of upwards of 10 people that have been taken advantage of by him over the past several years.
His victims have shared that in the past police officers have been hesitant to assist claiming that this is purely a civil matter – allowing Robb to leave potentially dozens of victims in his wake. Now, the leadership at the RCIPS has decided to consider the potential criminal implications of his actions and issued a statement today sharing:
The RCIPS Financial Crime Investigation Unit has commenced investigations based on complaints received of fraudulent activity reported across social media platforms where is it is alleged that a person has taken payment for shutter and screen installation works never completed. Some of the complaints received go back over four years. An investigating officer from FCIU has been appointed to investigate all related complaints and an investigation file will be prepared for legal ruling in due course. Any persons who have been victim of this alleged fraudulent activity are asked to make direct contact with the RCIPS FCIU to assist investigations at RCIPS.FCU@rcips.ky or 949-8797.
