(CMR) The UK has announced that from Monday 18 January its travel corridor approach will be suspended until 15 February at the earliest.
A country or territory that had a travel corridor with the UK meant that passengers could enter the UK without having to self-isolate on arrival. Cayman was one of 64 countries or territories on the UK’s travel corridor list.
This will affect the BA flights from Grand Cayman to London on 29 January and 12 February (expected to be confirmed shortly). From 0400 on Monday 18 January all arrivals into the UK will be required to complete a passenger locator form, be in possession of a negative test pre-departure to the UK, and isolate for 10 days on arrival.
Please note however that the UK are operating a Test to Release scheme where the 10 day isolation period may be reduced if a private COVID-19 test is paid for by the passenger. More information here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-test-to-release-for-international-travel
