(CMR) A man was attacked by two men and a woman and his wallet stolen on Fort Street in George Town early Sunday morning, 17 March.
Reports from the RCIPS are that just before 1 a.m., police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Fort Street, where it was reported that a man had been robbed.
Officers attended and spoke with a man who had obvious injuries to his face and body. The ambulance attended the location and the man was transported to the hospital to be treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The man informed the officers that he had been attacked and his wallet, which had a quantity of cash in both KYD and USD, as well as a variety of bank cards, was stolen.
The police are investigating the matter, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
