(CMR) Police have confirmed that a 45-year-old man was found unresponsive aboard the Celebrity Constellation cruise ship, anchored off the George Town port early this morning, 26 January.
The RCIPS said that at about 8:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the ship. Emergency services boarded the ship, and the man was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital and subsequently pronounced deceased by the attending doctor.
The man was an employee of the cruise ship and a Philippine national.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the death are currently ongoing but are not believed to be suspicious.
