(CMR) The Department of Labour & Pensions (DLP) has launched a new website boasting a clean and simplified look, making it much easier to find information.
Created under the remit of the Cayman Islands Government brand, the site features easy-to-find information on its key featured articles, frequently asked questions, fillable PDF forms, and brochures. It showcases a suite of new features, including a new training calendar, publications library, and electronic calculator, with more to follow.
This site also highlights its entire team, including its respective units, as well as the membership of the National Pensions Board, Labour Tribunal, and Labour Appeals Tribunal. It also features a new section for the Pension Plan Administrators to make it easier to find their contact information for pension-related enquiries.
DLP Director Bennard Ebanks said, “We are thrilled to unveil our new Department of Labour & Pensions website, designed with our users in mind. This innovative platform promises a user-friendly experience, featuring easier navigation and exciting new tools such as a minimum wage calculator. We believe this digital transformation will empower our stakeholders and enhance accessibility to vital labour and pension information.”
In the coming months, the site will be updated to offer additional calculators such as the Pensions calculator, the Maternity Leave calculator and Vacation Leave calculator, and more information to add greater value to its strong position in the labour market as the national regulator for Labour and Pensions compliance and enforcement.
