(CMR) The Needs Assessment Unit (NAU) has apologized for the unforeseen delay in the reinstatement of September's financial assistance payments. Initially scheduled for 6 October 2023, the disbursement has been processed but may not reach clients' bank accounts until Monday, 9 October 2023.
Chief Officer of the Ministry of Social Development, Tamara Ebanks, expressed deep regrets about this inconvenience.
“We acknowledge the importance of these funds for many in our community, and we understand the challenges this delay might cause. Please know that our team is working diligently to ensure that payments are released as quickly as possible. We are grateful for your patience and understanding during this time,” Ebanks stated.
