(CMR) A 33-year-old George Town man who broke into a woman's residence and assaulted her before leaving with cash last Thursday, 21 September, has been charged.
He has since been formally charged with two counts of Aggravated Burglary and one count each of Threats to Kill, Causing Fear or Provocation of Violence, and Assault ABH.
Reports from the RCIPS are that on Thursday morning, police arrested the man in relation to an incident that occurred earlier that morning. It was reported that the man had broken into the residence of a woman known to him, brandished a knife, made threats, assaulted her, and took a quantity of cash and a personal item from the residence.
