(CMR) Two women, one wanted for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, were extradited from Jamaica to the United States on Thursday, 7 September, following their arrests in St. James in July.
Iyana Reynolds (39) fled the US after she was charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Andre Brown in Connecticut last year. Reynolds is also facing charges of commission of an A, B, or C felony with a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit. Her bail was set at $2.5 million.
The second woman, Sereika Goodison (36), is wanted in America for mail fraud, wire fraud, and lottery scamming activities.
According to Jamaica Gleaner, Goodison, a customer service representative, was arrested in an operation on Thursday, July 06.
Following her arrest, investigations led to another operation on Tortuga Crescent, Greenwood, in St. James on Friday, July 21, in which Reynolds was arrested.
The operations were carried out by members of the Jamaica Fugitive Apprehension Team (JFAT), Lottery Scam Task Force (LSTF), Area 1 Operational Support Team, and counterparts from the United States
