(CMR) A local business is asking for the public's assistance in locating a brazen laptop thief that drove to the location on West Bay Road in a dark-colored BMW convertible vehicle on the afternoon of Thursday, April 13. Within 8 minutes she managed to steal a laptop and leave the store.
The woman was seen parking in the Marquee Plaza in a dark-colored BMW convertible. She then entered the store around 1:00 pm, where she was observed circling and scoping out the environment over to the technology department.
She then took a display laptop and placed it under her cardigan before eventually placing it into her handbag. She then returns to the same area to take the box which had the charger in it. She was then observed walking about three aisles over, where she hid the laptop box under a large box for a different product.
An employee of the store discovered the laptop box on Friday, April 21, at which time camera footage was examined to get a clearer picture of the theft.
The woman was dressed in dark shorts with a white tank top and a light-colored cardigan. She had dark-colored glasses hanging from her shirt and sported a short natural hairstyle.
The company is asking for anyone who may know who she is to please assist them in locating her. The video her can be observed below:
