(CMR) A 49-year-old man has been formally charged with three counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply after police seized several packages of what appeared to be cocaine and ganja in Bodden Town.
Police reports are that on the afternoon of Tuesday, 16 August, officers conducted a search of an address in the North Sound Estates area of Bodden Town under the Misuse of Drugs Act. During the search, officers recovered several packages of suspected cocaine, along with suspected ganja, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of cash.
As a result, two men, ages 36 and 49 of Bodden Town, were arrested for drug offenses. The 49-year-old man was charged and appeared before the Court on Friday, 19 August. He was remanded until Tuesday, 23 August. The 36-year-old man was granted bail as investigations continue.
