(CMR) The police have revealed the identity of a man who fell from the second-story balcony of a storage facility on February 24.
He is Nicholas John Keane, a 63-year-old retired police officer from the UK's West Midland area.
Keane was visiting the Cayman Islands on a long-term stay since December 2020.
It was reported that Keane and two other persons were standing on the outside balcony of the storage facility, which had a railing when he fell to the ground floor.
The RCIPS offers condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
The police continue to investigate the incident along with the Department of Labour, Health and Safety. No arrest has been made in relation to this incident.
