The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service have indicated that that 5 parcels containing ganja washed ashore in Little Cayman over the weekend.
According to the RCIPS, between Friday and Sunday, officers received several reports from members of the public about mysterious parcels that had washed ashore.
Little Cayman Police Officers, assisted by the Air Operations Unit, conducted extensive searches of the shoreline.
Altogether the officer recovered 5 parcels of ganja, over 80 lbs. total in weight.
The RCIPS used the opportunity to thank the members of the public who notified the authorities about the parcels.
