(CMR) A T&T man received an injury to the hand after his gun accidentally discharged .
Reports are that the man, a farmer, was on a hunting trip when the incident occurred.
According to the farmer at about 11:15 a.m. on Friday (December 18), he was climbing down a scaffolding when the gun discharged.
The man reported that the gun fell during his descent and upon hitting the ground, it discharged and he was shot in his right hand.
The farmer was transported to the Sangre Grande Hospital for injuries to the right hand.
Police in T&T say efforts to locate the gun have prove futile.
