(CMR) Yesterday, Sunday, 14 November, officers responded to a report of an indecent assault that occurred earlier that morning. A woman was being driven home by a man known to her. While traveling along South Church Street, the man pulled over, made sexual advances towards the woman and touched her indecently. However, while traveling along West Bay Road, the woman was able to get out of the vehicle and the man drove away.
Later that afternoon, officers arrested a man, age 49 of George Town, on suspicion of indecent assault in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
