(CMR) The driver of a car involved in a single-vehicle collision early Thursday morning, 15 April, remains in hospital in critical but stable condition.
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) reports that shortly after 5:30 am, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision along the Queens Highway in East End, west of the Morritt’s Resort.
A silver Suzuki Ertiga was reportedly traveling westbound when it left the roadway, collided with the fence and garbage disposal of a property in the vicinity, and came to rest in bushes off the roadway. The vehicle sustained extensive damage.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for serious injuries and remained in critical but stable condition.
