(CMR) Two brothers from Cayman Brac and their friend who lives between Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman have been arrested for suspicion of murder in the death of a 36-year-old man from Sri Lanka at Bananas Restaurant & Bar on Saturday.
Arrested are brothers Kevin Stefan Parchman (24), Jeremy Ralph Parchman (20) and their friend Shimar Jose Julio Kelly (22) who remain in police custody.
Sources indicate that a fight broke out that resulted in the man being killed. Authorities are appealing for eyewitnesses but were able to make the arrests after reviewing CCTV footage.
All three accused have various existing offenses in court including drug trafficking and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Brackers have shared that they were allegedly involved in an assault on a 71-year-old man at Coral Isle some years ago. Grand Cayman residents also alleged they had some involvement in a Sea Inn altercation in October 2018 as well.
