(CMR) The Department of Vehicle and Drivers' Licensing (DVDL) is urging motor vehicle owners with temporary license plates to replace them with permanent plates by 31 May 2022.
All temporary plates will cease to be legal at the end of May.
The temporary laminated license plates can be switched at DVDL's Crewe Road location on Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Failure to replace temporary plates is a criminal offense, with a fine of $2,500 or up to six months imprisonment, or both.
