(CMR) The Department of Health Regulatory Services (DHRS) is advising customers of unavoidable delays in the delivery of its regular services beginning on Monday, 11 March, due to a system upgrade.
“The department is currently undertaking a significant overhaul of our system, processes, and procedures, which has been long overdue,” explained DHRS Director Mervyn Conolly.
“When completed, we will have a more modern, user-friendly, accessible, and sustainable process that will be a significant improvement over the current system. However, to get there, we must inevitably go through the usual growing pains associated with making changes and embracing technology, so we thank the community in advance for their patience,” he added.
The system upgrade will be impacting the department’s operations over the coming months, including intermittent closures of its customer service kiosk and delays in the delivery of its regular services. The department is committed to keeping the public informed and apologizes for the inconvenience that these interruptions may cause.
