UPDATE: Almost three weeks after she was reported missing, police said Jahsmine Ebanks, who was reported missing Tuesday 31 October, has now been located. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in locating Jahsmine, who has now returned home.
UPDATE: Kiara Watson, who was reported missing around 7.15 PM, Tuesday 31 October, has now been located and found to be in good health. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in locating Kiara, who has now returned to her residence.
(CMR) Police are seeking the assistance of the public in locating Jahsmine Ebanks (16) and Kiara Watson (11), who went missing while they were out along Seafarers Way in George Town around 7:15 p.m. yesterday, 31 October.
Jahsmine Ebanks, who has been reported missing on numerous occasions, was described as being of dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 1 inch in height, and of medium build. At the time that she was last seen, she was wearing a black hoodie, tiger print blouse underneath, blue jeans and black slippers.
Kiara Watson was described as having a dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 3 inches in height, and medium build. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a red spaghetti strap blouse underneath, and grey shorts.
The RCIPS is informing the public that anyone who harbors or conceals a young person is guilty of an offense and is liable, on conviction, to being fined $2000 and to imprisonment for three months. Officers are encouraging Jahsmine and Kiara to return home to her West Bay address or to attend the nearest police station immediately.
