(CMR) Yeng Chang Guerra, a Cuban national residing in the Cayman Islands for over a decade, denied sexually assaulting a female at the Savage Ink Studios on West Bay Road, where he works as a tattoo artist.
When Guerra appeared in court on 21 July, he pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault and one count of indecent assault by penetration in relation to the incident which occurred on 28 December 2022.
He was granted bail with a surety of $5000 and was ordered to surrender his travel documents. He will return to court on 24 August.
Reports are that Guerra, the father of a local child, is in the process of applying for permanent residency.
