(CMR) One of two men who broke into a house last Thursday has been taken into police custody.
Reports from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) are that just after 4:30 p.m. on the above date, police responded to a report of two men entering a residence and assaulting the occupant.
When police arrived the men had already fled, they are said to have stolen a quantity of cash.
The incident took place on Whitman Seymour Drive in George Town.
A 27-year-old-man of West Bay was arrested in relation to the incident and has since been charged with Robbery, Assault ABH and Common Assault
He appeared in court on Tuesday, May 19, via video link, where he was granted bail to return on June 12, 2020.
