(CMR) A physical altercation took place on a Clifton Hunter school bus in North Side this afternoon around 2:30 pm between a male teenager and the bus warden after he refused to sit in the front of the bus. Ultimately, this resulted in him assaulting the female vice-principal at the school.
CMR sources shared that the young man wanted to sit in the back of the bus with his sister and friends but for some reason, he was refused. Allegedly, the female bus warden proceeded to say to him “hey little boy come here” and then grabbed and started choking him and pulling him up by the collar. When the bus stopped he went to the back of the bus and refused to move. The bus was then turned around and all students on board were taken back to the school.
Upon arrival at the school, the situation escalated again with the teen then assaulting the female vice-principal, Lisa Vassell, in a scruffle when she boarded the bus with the school counselor.
She informed him that he needed to come off the bus and it was not going to leave with him on it. Reports are that he started crying and having a temper tantrum and further lost control. He punched the vice principal in her face and chest and told her to “go suck ya mudda”.
Police were called and attended the scene.
