(CMR) Persons who want to help with Census 2021 are invited to attend public information meetings beginning this week.
The first of these meetings will be held in Bodden Town on Thursday, 10 June 2021, from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Theoline L. McCoy School Hall (BTPS).
All interested persons are invited to attend, listen and sign up for a chance to be chosen as a census worker. Persons who have already signed up are also asked to attend.
Attendees will learn about the criteria to qualify to be census workers. Those selected will undergo training over several weeks to become either enumerators or supervisors in the different districts.
Some 420 census workers selected will join the team conducting the national population and housing count that begins on 10 October 2021 and will continue for about two months.
