(CMR) Cayman National Bank said that effective 1 July 2024, it will no longer cash checks payable to non-CNB account holders.
According to a notice posted on CNB's website, this decision has been made to streamline its services, allocate resources more efficiently, and reduce risks.
“In addition, this move is aligned with our strategy to better utilize CNB’s digital channels, reduce costs to our customers, and further protect the environment through the elimination of paper,” the bank added.
CNB said it is providing this 60-day notice period to allow ample time for alternative arrangements.
The bank said presentations in the workplace can be scheduled with its Service Delivery team to encourage employees to explore the array of account options provided by CNB. These options offer various benefits, including convenient online banking and access to our extensive network of ATMs and ITMs, CNB stated.
CNB further stated that its website, is also a valuable resource where one can find comprehensive information about its products and services.
“We have designed our online banking platform to be user-friendly and convenient, allowing you to manage your finances from the comfort of your own home. To learn more, visit our Online Banking page,” CNB added.
The bank apologizes for any inconvenience this change may cause and has encouraged those with questions to contact the bank.
