(CMR) Some 30 employees at the Cayman Islands Turtle Centre participated in a peaceful protest under the grape tree at the entrance of the facility. They shared with CMR that after months of waiting on the board to address their concerns about management decisions they proceeded with the protest this morning.
It was previously reported in February that a letter was sent to the board, minister of tourism and several others from some 60 employees late last year. The number of employees who signed the vote of no confience letter represents a vast majority of the employees at the facility.
