(CMR) An alleged gunman who was said to be behind this morning's attack on four policemen in St. Catherine, Jamaica was shot and killed in an operation on Friday (June 12).
Reports are that 39-year-old Damion Hamilton, a deportee, was shot dead in a security operation in Cooreville Gardens.
Hamilton was said to be one of the gunmen in the early morning attack which left two policemen dead and two others severely wounded.
Earlier reports from police are that some of their officers from a team in their St Catherine North division came under heavy gunfire after going to a premises in Horizon Park.
Two of their officers were killed while two others remain in hospital.
