(CMR) The Cayman Islands has been ranked one of the best islands in the world by global travel site Big 7 Travel in its recently released annual list. Big 7 said it uses aggregated scores from previous media results and contributions from the Big 7 Travel editorial team to decide the 50 most amazing islands to visit right now.
The travel site describes Cayman as just a tiny speck in the middle of the Caribbean sea that is known all over the world. It went on to state that Seven Mile Beach is among the many reasons why Cayman is considered an ideal tropical destination.
“With sparkling waters and coral sands, it’s so perfect it almost doesn’t look real,” the site states.
Apart from Seven Miles Beach, Big 7 Travel lists six other locations it considers “instagrammable spots” in the Cayman Islands.
According to Big 7 Travel, Cayman's Crytal Caves are being as pretty as any caves you’ll find in the world. Like a work of art. Proof that this Caribbean island isn’t just all about beaches,
Rum Point is seen as the ultimate Cayman Island Instagram spot that looks like something straight out of a postcard, Big 7 Travel states.
The next spot it considers picture-perfect is Stingray City, “where you can literally hold the friendly Stingrays in your hands.”
The site describes Caman Brac as the easternmost island of the Cayman Islands, and the limestone cliff that runs all along the island is a perfect backdrop for your Instagram snap.
Smith Cove is also considered among the ideal spots for vacation pictures. It is described as “a little cove where you’ll be able to grab action shots, beach shots, and photos of the most crystal clear water you might ever see.”
According to Big 7 Travel, Smith Cove is the ultimate Cayman Island Instagram snap.
Sunset at Over the Edge Cafe was also listed as an ideal place for photos. “After a long hard day on the beach and taking photos, you’ll want one last snap, and this is the best place for some food, a drink and the sunset.” Big 7 added.
