(CMR) The police have now confirmed that three male teenagers have been arrested in last week's brazen daytime burglary in South Sound last Thursday, July 19.
The males, age 15 and 17 of West Bay, and age 17 of George Town appeared in court yesterday for their first hearing.
Shortly before 11:45AM 19 July, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a burglary-in-progress at an address on Sandalwood Crescent, George Town. Officers responded immediately and, on arrival, spotted three males who then fled the location by breaking through the rear glass door.
CMR reported earlier that they attempted to escape into the sea during the incident and we understand the house belongs to a local attorney.
