(CMR) The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) arrested three men on suspicion of burglary and trespassing in relation to several different incidents.
One of the men, age 19 of West Bay, was arrested yesterday, 28 April, on suspicion of burglary, in relation to an incident on Saturday, 23 April, where a residence off Mount Pleasant Road, West Bay, was entered unlawfully and items were taken.
He was further arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle in relation to an incident earlier the same day, where a quantity of cash was taken from a vehicle parked on Sonny Powery Drive, West Bay.
The man is also a suspect in multiple other burglaries and thefts in the West Bay area and remains in custody as investigations continue.
A second man, age 33 of George Town, was also arrested yesterday, 28 April, on suspicion of burglary, in relation to an incident on Saturday, 1 January, where a school on Walkers Road was broken into.
The man is also a suspect in multiple other burglaries in the George Town area and remains in custody as investigations continue.
The third arrest was made on Wednesday, 27 April. A man, age 45, of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of Criminal Trespass following an incident the same day, where a man was observed attempting to unlawfully gain entry to a residence and vehicles in the vicinity of Marbel Drive, George Town.
He remains in custody as investigations continue.
