(CMR) A strike by air traffic controllers in Jamaica has affected Cayman Airways' flight schedule.
“To all Cayman Airways’ valued customers, due to a strike by Air Traffic Controllers in Jamaica closing Jamaican airspace, Cayman Airways has had to cancel today’s flights to and from Jamaica,” the airline said in an announcement on Thursday.
The airline said passengers on the affected flights (KX 604 and KX 605) will be rescheduled for travel tomorrow 13 May.
However, flights for tomorrow are also tentative and are dependent on the Air Traffic Control Operations in Jamaica having returned to normalcy by then.
