(CMR)Dancehall artiste Spice took to social media platforms on Wednesday (September 16) where she announced that she was launching her own clothing line.
Spice who has been consistently expanding and diversifying her career, making major moves in 2018 when she branched off into acting, officially joining the cast of the Love and Hip Hop franchise, described her latest venture as a natural succession.
The dancehall heavy weight told fans that she had always operated retail fashion outlets across the island but now thought it necessary to launch a fashion brand of her own.
Spice said that while she had officially settled on the name “GRACI NOIR” she needed fans help in creating a unique logo for the brand.
” I decided to start my own clothing brand called “GRACI NOIR” @gracinoir as many of know I’ve had stores across Jamaica 🇯🇲 called Spicey couture over the last decade, however online is now the new lifestyle and it’s easier to reach my fans across the world,” said Spice on Instagram
“However I’m having trouble deciding which logo to use 🤷🏾♀️ and I don’t want my G to look like the Gucci G 😫 so please help me chose, by the way the word NOIR means “Black”, ” added the entertainer.
Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, has always maintained businesses having several clothing stores, a hair salon and a sports bar.
In May 2019 the entertainer established Faces & Laces, an online beauty store that offered wigs, later expanding to include cosmetic products.
