(CMR) Tonight, Friday 18 March, detectives, along with uniform officers, will be attending the Strand Complex on West Bay Road in search of witnesses to the shooting incident that took place last Saturday morning, 12 March, just after 3 a.m.
Police are aware that several people were present when the incident took place; however, very few have come forward to provide the police with information to assist the investigation.
Detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the Major Incident Room at 649-2930. Anonymous tips, including multimedia files, can be provided directly to the RCIPS via their Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777 or their website.
Police Officers will also continue proactive patrols at nightclubs and other hot spot areas to discourage illegal activity and antisocial behavior. The public is being reminded to ensure that they conduct themselves in a manner within the law, and remain safe.
