(CMR) The police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Smith Road, George Town, on Saturday, 18 December, just before 7 pm.
The vehicle, which is described as a small dark-colored car, is reported to have struck a pedestrian on Smith Road, just east of the Smith Road Centre, at about 6:51 pm, and immediately fled the location, continuing to travel east towards Bobby Thompson Way.
The pedestrian was subsequently released from the hospital, having been treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by police. Anyone with information or who may know the vehicle's location is encouraged to call the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
