(CMR) The police are seeking the driver of a white Nissan Frontier who fled the scene of an accident in the wee hours of Sunday morning, 6 March.
Reports are that just after 2 a.m, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a collision that took place at the traffic light located at Shedden Road and North Sound Road.
The collision took place between a silver Honda Accord and a white Nissan Frontier. The driver of the Nissan Frontier exited the vehicle and made off on foot in the direction of North Sound Road.
The driver and a passenger of the Honda Accord were both transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where they were treated and later released.
The Cayman Islands Fire Service also attended the location, assessed the scene and assisted with clearing the roadway.
The collision is under investigation by the police, and anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the driver of the white Nissan Frontier involved in this incident is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
