Rumor: A member of the RCIPS armed unit was involved in a domestic altercation on Sunday 6th of January in the mid-morning hours.
During the incident he pulled his personal hand gun on his new wife of 3 weeks and held her against her will for about 30 minutes. The wife locked herself in the bathroom and placed an emergency call to 911 Communications Centre advising them of what had transpired. The victim later changed her story when an official police statement was required.
Since the incident said officer has not been at work and his gun was seized.
