“The RCIPS can confirm that they have found no evidence or information to substantiate the claims made by the individual, and ask the public and social media outlets to cease spreading harmful content which may cause unnecessary alarm and distress to the community.”

(CMR) The police have issued a statement calling on the public to cease sharing a video that includes explicitly and harmful content but which they conclude has no merits of truth to it.
The video gained traction earlier in the week after the North Side man in the video had a livestream on his own Instagram account. In that live event, he claimed that he sexually assaulted a woman and that he enjoyed raping women.
Multiple people reached out to CMR about their concerns about the content of the video and what the man claimed he had done in it. He alleged to have raped a woman and engaged in certain activities without her consent and she had requested he stop.
Comments on the live stream were questioning his story and some sharing he was wrong for what he alleged took place.
CMR then contacted the police and shared concerns with them to which they replied there was no need for concern. The video was subsequently shared on various sites including CMR's social media pages as a warning for any potential victims to contact the police.
Despite these serious comments the police have shared that they do not believe there is any need for public alarm and that they are in contact with “agency partners to provide appropriate intervention.”. It is believed the man could be suffering from some mental health issues.
The man is no stranger to the authorities or the courts after having been previously convicted of causing serious harm to a dog in an animal cruelty case. His previous and current behavior has left many in the community wondering if the police have seriously considered his potential to harm others. One person observed to CMR:
“the father who buried his own son also may have had mental health issues but that does not mean that he was not capable of harming others. There was also the case of the mother who killed her pre-teen child some years ago.”
It appears the man continues to make unusual videos and social media posts on his own which garnishes a bit of attention from the general public. Some of his other videos are now starting to go viral as well.
The police have shared that:
