(CMR) The local Water Authority is advising the motoring public that remedial works on North Sound Road may result in unavoidable traffic diversions and delays in that area.
The advisory which was released on Wednesday (September 15) said upgrades to the water supply infrastructure along North Sound Road, between the junction of Portland Road and Shedden Road would begin on Sunday (September 20).
The upgrading project is expected to last for approximately six (6) weeks.
During the works, portions of the road will be closed, and traffic will be diverted. Signs will be in place, directing the flow of traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution when they are in the area to protect their safety and the safety of the Authority’s staff.
