(CMR) Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian that took place at approximately 5:15 pm on Thursday, 3 February, at the Grand Harbour Roundabout in George Town.
A male pedestrian was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle; however, the driver failed to stop at the location. The injured man was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where he was treated and later released with what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident and may be able to provide information that would assist in identifying the vehicle and its driver to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
