(CMR) The RCIPS is advising the public that Arch & Godfrey (Cayman) Ltd will be conducting construction work on West Bay Road, south of Seven Mile Public Beach, beginning on 19 March 2022. In order to facilitate this work, West Bay Road will be closed to vehicular traffic, between the Seven Mile Public Beach Roundabout and Lime Tree Bay Avenue, from Saturday, 19 March to Monday, 28 March.
Persons needing to access residences and other locations within the closed area will be permitted to do so. Beginning at 6 p.m on Monday, 28 March, the southbound lane will be re-opened to vehicular traffic. The northbound lane will remain closed through Wednesday, 28 September 2022. Local northbound access will also remain permitted.
The RCIPS advises motorists to exercise caution when traveling in this area during these times, and thanks the public for their cooperation
