(CMR) Cayman welcomed it's first Christmas baby late in the evening on Christmas Day.
Ayden McField-Brown was delivered at 6:06 pm on 25 December, making him the first baby born on Christmas Day 2019 at the Cayman Islands Hospital. He weighed in at 6 pounds and 15 ounces. Parents Kaitlyn and Thomas Mcfield-Brown are happy for the safe delivery of their healthy baby boy. “My husband is super excited he was born on Christmas Day,” said Mrs. Mcfield-Brown.
Registered Nurse Midwife Kerryann Allen presented Mrs. Mcfield-Brown with a gift basket donated by the members of the Opposition, Mr. Alva Suckoo and Mr. Anthony Eden.
Suckoo (Newlands) shared that they intend to make this an annual act of kindness and will be doing the same for the first baby born in 2020. He personally wanted to wish the family a Merry Christmas and congratulate them on their special delivery.
Great grandmother, Linda McField shared:
“He made our Christmas extra special. We thank God for a healthy baby. Mom, Dad, and Ayden are all doing well.”
