(CMR) Wayne Panton and Heather Bodden hosted a New Years Celebration for the entire family at Pedro Castle Saturday afternoon. The theme was Community Creates Country and despite some inclement weather, the event was well attended.
The event was well attended and included games for the kids, face painting, food and live band performances. Ensuring that the service providers were mostly local vendors the bouncing castle was provided by Newlands based businessman Maragh. Popcorn and cotton candy were from Party Time and a real hit with kids of all ages.
Bands were Musical Crew and Bonafide which included a mix of Newlands and Savannah musicians. The children enjoyed getting on stage and singing along with Isadora Ferrao.
Hurleys catered the food which included Cayman style beef, curry chicken, BBQ chicken with ample sides. Bouncing castles was local Newlands based provider Maragh. Popcorn and cotton candy was Party time. Games were Massive.

“Wonderful to see all the families and kids having a great time. Even with the threat of rain, we did not want to disappoint one child so it went on to be an amazing evening and thanks to all of those who came out to this community celebration.”
