(CMR) The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority’s (HSA’s) recently launched lateral flow test (LFT) online platform has now expanded to the Sister Islands. This allows persons testing across all three islands to reserve their spot by booking and paying online at www.hsa.ky/Appointment/.
“The new online booking system provides a more streamlined approach to our COVID-19 testing service by creating greater efficiency in the registration process. It also offers those seeking LFTs greater security and convenience knowing they will be seen at their appointed times,” explained Chief Nursing Officer Dr. Hazel Brown, who oversees operations at the COVID Testing Centre.
Scheduling an appointment using the online platform will require a debit or credit card. Cash payment is still accepted through walk-ins. Those with booked appointments will be given priority.
LFT tests are CI $25/US $30 per person, per test. Persons reserving their spots online are advised to be on time for their appointments. Results are emailed in approximately 1 hour.
Certified Lateral Flow testing is available at the COVID-19 clinic located at 131 Maclendon Dr. (behind Fosters Airport) in Grand Cayman, the Aston Rutty Centre in Cayman Brac, and the Little Cayman Clinic. Clinic hours can be found at www.hsa.ky/Appointment/ and are listed below:
