(CMR) Despite the revisions made to the daily coronavirus press briefings – which mean the sessions now take place on a tri-weekly basis – Dr. Lee on Wednesday (May 20) shared an update on the island's figures.
Lee said that the Cayman Islands had recorded no new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours.
The announcement was shared on the Cayman Islands Government's Facebook page.
Lee was reporting on 494 samples.
The island has had no new positive COVID-19 cases requiring clinical management since April 27.
The number of positive coronavirus cases in the Cayman Islands rose to 111 on Tuesday.
As of Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.: the figures remain the same at 111 COVID-19 cases with the island recording 55 recoveries.
