December 6 & 7: Prowess Music Concert

The RCIPS is informing the public of the following road closures taking place on Thursday, 6 December, and Friday, 7 December, in order to facilitate the Prowess Music Concert. The closures will be in effect from 7:30 pm to 3:00 am on both days.

Harbour Drive will be closed between Shedden Road and Fort Street, however one lane will remain open between the Port Authority entrance and Fort Street, in order to facilitate access to the Port Authority and Elmslie Memorial Church.

Cardinall Avenue will also be closed.


Hawkins Drive In order to facilitate the Windsor Park Committee’s Christmas Party on Saturday, 8 December, Hawkins Drive in George Town will be closed between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.


December 8: New Testament Church of God Walk/Run The event begins and ends at the Seven Mile Public Beach and participants will travel south along West Bay Road to the Galleria Plaza Roundabout and back. Motorists traveling in the area on Saturday morning are advised to exercise caution.


Cayman Islands Motorcycle Riders Association will be hosting their annual Toys 4 Tots Toy Run

On Sunday, 9 December, the Cayman Islands Motorcycle Riders Association will be hosting their annual Toys 4 Tots Toy Run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The riders will leave from the Margaritaville Hotel on West Bay Road and travel around the island, with a 15 minute stop in East End.

No roads will be closed for this event but motorists are being informed that they may encounter the procession, which is expected to include up to 60 motorcyclists, at various points across the island on Sunday.
