(CMR) Tiffany Seymour will soon know her fate once the DPP's office makes a ruling into allegations that she may have been in breach of the shelter at home provisions. The police have confirmed that they have completed their investigation and the matter is now with the prosecution's office for a ruling.
The process is that police investigate allegations and forward the file to the DPPs office for legal advice on how to proceed. They will determine if there's sufficient evidence to charge.
The allegation first came to light last month on CMR. Seymour is Minister of Health's wife and it was alleged last month that she was seen out exercising which she then posted on her Instagram page. Over a week ago the police confirmed they had launched a formal investigation into the allegations after receiving numerous complaints.
The minister's response to a media query on the matter by CNS reporter, Wendy Ledger, was met by him calling her stupid and bold leaving most in the community shocked.
No arrest has been made as it is not an arrestable offense but a ticketable one.
