(CMR) Two men wearing masks, one appearing to have a handgun, entered a George Town residence early Monday morning and took several items before fleeing.
The RCIPS reported that shortly after 6 am on 14 June, officers responded to a report of an aggravated burglary at an address on Oakmill Street, George Town. It was reported that the occupant of the residence had been awoken by two masked men who had entered the residence and appeared to be searching it.
The men fled the location on foot, with a quantity of cash, jewelry, and personal items taken from the residence. The occupant of the residence was uninjured.
Later the same day, a subsequent report of an armed robbery was reported to 911; however, it transpired that this report was not a new incident but instead another report of the same aggravated burglary.
The suspects are described as being of dark complexion, both slim and tall, and both wearing black clothes and masks.
