(CMR) A man had to be taken to hospital on Sunday, 23 January, after he was seriously wounded at Denzel Bar on Mary Street. The police are appealing to eyewitnesses to come forward.
Reports are that, just after 9:45 pm, police and other emergency service responded to a report of a wounding incident that took place on Mary Street, George Town.
Officers attended Mary Street and located a man with a wound to the head lying on the ground. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. His injuries were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening, and he was later discharged.
The police are investigating the incident, and anyone with information about what took place, specifically those persons who were at the Denzel Bar on Mary Street at the time of the incident, is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
